Professional Support for Mental Health and Wellbeing

Psychologists are experts in human behaviour and mental health. Using evidence-based "talk therapies," they help individuals navigate life's challenges, manage mental health conditions, and improve emotional resilience. Whether you are dealing with a diagnosed condition or simply feeling overwhelmed by life’s pressures, a psychologist provides a safe, confidential space to develop practical strategies for lasting change.

What We Help With:

  • Anxiety & Depression: Managing persistent worry, low mood, and the clinical symptoms of mood disorders.

  • Stress & Burnout: Developing coping mechanisms for workplace pressure and major life transitions.

  • Trauma & PTSD: Evidence-based approaches to processing difficult past experiences and reducing their impact on the present.

  • Grief & Loss: Support through the complex emotional journey of losing a loved one or a significant life change.

  • Relationship & Family Issues: Improving communication, setting boundaries, and resolving conflict.

  • Diagnostic Assessments: Professional testing for ADHD, Autism (ASD), and learning difficulties.

Psychologist Services

As university-qualified professionals registered with AHPRA, our psychologists’ services are eligible for several Australian funding pathways. Understanding these can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

  • Medicare (Mental Health Care Plan): Claim rebates for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year with a GP referral. We offer on-the-spot processing for your Medicare rebate.

  • NDIS (Registered & Non-Registered): We provide capacity building and therapeutic support to help NDIS participants reach their functional goals. We welcome Agency, Plan, and Self-managed participants.

  • Private Health Insurance & Consultations: Many insurers offer rebates for psychology under "Extras" cover. No referral is required for private sessions if you are not claiming through Medicare.

  • Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA): We provide fully funded mental health support for Gold and White Card holders. Each GP referral (D904) allows for a 12-session treatment cycle.

  • WorkCover & CTP: We support recovery from workplace stress or motor vehicle trauma with evidence-based therapy. Services are billed directly to your insurer once your claim is approved.

  • Aged Care: We provide emotional support and cognitive assessments for seniors at home or in residential care. Funding is available via the Support at Home program (HCP).

  • Mobile Visit: We offer mobile psychology services for those who find it difficult to leave home. This allows for therapy in a familiar, safe, and convenient environment.
